6th World Environment Summit 2025

Achievements 2025

The year 2025 has been a truly remarkable milestone in my professional and personal journey. I proudly completed 25 years of dedicated teaching, a milestone that reflects my unwavering commitment to education and mentorship. Throughout this journey, I have strived to inspire students in their study and promote awareness on critical environmental issues.

One of the highlights of the year was visiting Bangkok to attend the 6th World Environment Summit2025, a flagship International Conference, Awards and workshop on November 8th to 12th, 2025 organized by the Environmental and Social Development Association (ESDA), Delhi. I am deeply grateful to my university management for providing me leave to attend this prestigious event, which brought together global experts, policymakers, and researchers from 14 countries. The summit was witnessed by a remarkable 538 participants (122 physical and 416 online).  The summit facilitated invaluable exchanges of ideas and strengthened international collaborations in water conservation and environmental sustainability.

My role as a Patron Member of the Environmental and Social Development Association continues to motivate me to actively contribute toward sustainable development and societal welfare. A proud moment was being invited as a speaker to present my research paper titled "Virtual Water and Climate Change: Challenges and Opportunities." The presentation was well-received and my work was appreciated by peers and experts. The insights shared opened avenues for dialogue on sustainable water management amidst climate uncertainties.

In recognition of my contributions, I was honored with the ECDA Senior Scientist Award — a prestigious accolade that acknowledges my dedication to environmental research and education. This recognition motivates me to further pursue impactful initiatives in the years to come.

Additionally, I also published my book titled "Environmental Transformations: Navigating a Changing World," serving as an editor. This publication aims to provide insights into the dynamic changes our environment is undergoing and the pathways to sustainable adaptation.

In 2025, i was privileged to receive two national awards - the Women in Research Excellence Award by Genesin of Education Impressions, Haridwar, and the Women Excellence Award both recognizing my contribution to research and education.

My research work continued to contribute to the global scientific community with two research papers published in international journals.

2025 has been a remarkable year of growth, recognition, and global engagement. I look forward to continuing my efforts in education and environmental advocacy, inspiring positive change for a sustainable future.
