Meritorious, Sports and Cultural Scholarship Policy

1. टाइटल (Title)

इस पॉलिसी को “पतंजलि यूनिवर्सिटी की मेरिटोरियस, स्पोर्ट्स और कल्चरल स्कॉलरशिप स्कीम” कहा जाएगा।
(This policy shall be called the “Meritorious, Sports and Cultural Scholarship Scheme of the University of Patanjali.”)

2. मकसद (Objectives)

इस स्कॉलरशिप स्कीम के मकसद हैं (The objectives of this scholarship scheme are):

• स्टूडेंट्स में एकेडमिक एक्सीलेंस को बढ़ावा देना। (To promote academic excellence among students.)
• नेशनल और इंटरनेशनल लेवल पर स्पोर्ट्स में हिस्सा लेने और कामयाबी पाने के लिए बढ़ावा देना। (To encourage participation and achievement in sports at national and international levels.)
• आर्ट्स और परफॉर्मेंस के ज़रिए कल्चरल डेवलपमेंट और भारतीय विरासत को बचाना। (To foster cultural development and preservation of Indian heritage through arts and performance.)
• यूनिवर्सिटी के योग (योग), संस्कार (वैल्यूज़), और कंपोजिट एजुकेशन (होलिस्टिक एजुकेशन) के सिद्धांतों के हिसाब से होलिस्टिक डेवलपमेंट को सपोर्ट करना। (To support holistic development in alignment with the University’s ethos of योग (Yoga), संस्कार (Values), and समग्र शिक्षा (Holistic Education)).

3. स्कॉलरशिप की कैटेगरी (Categories of Scholarships)

स्कॉलरशिप इन तीन कैटेगरी में दी जाएंगी। (Scholarships shall be awarded under the following three categories):

• 3.1 मेरिटोरियस स्कॉलरशिप (एकेडमिक एक्सीलेंस): यह उन स्टूडेंट्स को दी जाती है जो बहुत अच्छा एकेडमिक परफॉर्मेंस देते हैं। (Meritorious Scholarship (Academic Excellence): Awarded to students demonstrating outstanding academic performance.)
• 3.2 स्पोर्ट्स स्कॉलरशिप (Sports Scholarship): यह उन स्टूडेंट्स को दी जाती है जिन्होंने जाने-माने स्पोर्ट्स डिसिप्लिन में बहुत अच्छी कामयाबी हासिल की है। (Awarded to students with exceptional achievements in recognized sports disciplines.)
• 3.3 कल्चरल स्कॉलरशिप (Cultural Scholarship): म्यूज़िक, डांस, ड्रामा, फाइन आर्ट्स और पारंपरिक भारतीय कलाओं जैसी कल्चरल एक्टिविटीज़ में बेहतरीन काम करने वाले स्टूडेंट्स को दी जाती है। (Awarded to students excelling in cultural activities such as music, dance, drama, fine arts, and traditional Indian art forms.)

4. एलिजिबिलिटी क्राइटेरिया (Eligibility Criteria)

4.1 जनरल एलिजिबिलिटी (General Eligibility)

• एप्लीकेंट यूनिवर्सिटी का असली फुल-टाइम स्टूडेंट होना चाहिए। (The applicant must be a bonafide full-time student of the University.)
• कम से कम 80% अटेंडेंस रखनी होगी। (Must maintain minimum 80% attendance.)
• किसी भी डिसिप्लिनरी मिसकंडक्ट में शामिल नहीं होना चाहिए। (Must not have been involved in any disciplinary misconduct.)
• परफॉर्मेंस के आधार पर हर साल स्कॉलरशिप का रिव्यू किया जाएगा। Scholarship shall be reviewed annually based on performance.

4.2 मेरिटोरियस स्कॉलरशिप (Meritorious Scholarship)

• पिछले क्वालिफाइंग एग्जाम में कम से कम 85% मार्क्स या बराबर CGPA । (Minimum 85% marks or equivalent CGPA in the previous qualifying examination.)
• कंटिन्यूएशन के लिए हर सेमेस्टर में कम से कम 8.0 CGPA (या बराबर) ज़रूरी है। (Continuation requires minimum 8.0 CGPA (or equivalent) in each semester.)
• हर प्रोग्राम में टॉप 10% स्टूडेंट्स पर विचार किया जा सकता है। (Top 10% of students in each program may be considered.)

4.3 स्पोर्ट्स स्कॉलरशिप (Sports Scholarship)

• इंटरनेशनल / नेशनल / स्टेट लेवल के मान्यता प्राप्त कॉम्पिटिशन में स्वर्ण/ सिल्वर/ ब्रॉन्ज मेडल जीतना (Gold/ Silver/ Bronze medal at International / National / State level recognized competitions.)
• मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थाओं से सर्टिफ़िकेशन, जैसे (Certification from recognized bodies such as:) स्पोर्ट्स अथॉरिटी ऑफ़ इंडिया (Sports Authority of India), संबंधित नेशनल स्पोर्ट्स फ़ेडरेशन (Relevant National Sports Federations)
• ज़रूरत पड़ने पर कॉम्पिटिशन में यूनिवर्सिटी को रिप्रेज़ेंट करना होगा। (Must represent the University in competitions when required.)

4.4 कल्चरल स्कॉलरशिप (Cultural Scholarship)

• इंटर-यूनिवर्सिटी / स्टेट / नेशनल लेवल एवं अतंराष्ट्रीय के कॉम्पिटिशन कार्यक्रम में बेहतरीन काम साबित किया हो Proven excellence at (Inter-University / State / National/ International level competitions)
• क्लासिकल म्यूज़िक, डांस (भरतनाट्यम, कथक), थिएटर, वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार, फ़ाइन आर्ट्स, वगैरह कल्चरल फ़ील्ड में मान्यता प्राप्त सर्टिफ़िकेशन या अवॉर्ड। (Recognized certifications or awards in cultural fields such as Classical music, dance (Bharatanatyam, Kathak), theatre, Vedic chanting, fine arts, etc.)
• यूनिवर्सिटी के कल्चरल इवेंट्स में एक्टिव हिस्सा लेना ज़रूरी है। (Active participation in University cultural events is mandatory.)

5. स्कॉलरशिप के फ़ायदे (Scholarship Benefits)

एक्स्ट्रा इंसेंटिव में ये शामिल हो सकते हैं (Additional incentives may include):

• फ़्री हॉस्टल अकोमोडेशन (केस-टू-केस बेसिस पर) (Free hostel accommodation (case-to-case basis))
• किट/इक्विपमेंट अलाउंस (स्पोर्ट्स/कल्चरल के लिए) (Kit/equipment allowance (for sports/cultural))
• रिकग्निशन सर्टिफ़िकेट (Recognition certificates)

6. सिलेक्शन प्रोसेस (Selection Process)

• हर एकेडमिक साल की शुरुआत में एप्लीकेशन मंगाए जाएँगे। (Applications shall be invited at the beginning of each academic year.)
• एक स्कॉलरशिप इवैल्यूएशन कमिटी बनाई जाएगी जिसमें ये लोग होंगे (A Scholarship Evaluation Committee shall be constituted comprising): रजिस्ट्रार (Registrar), संबंधित फैकल्टी के डीन (Dean of respective faculty), स्पोर्ट्स डायरेक्टर (Director of Sports), कल्चरल कोऑर्डिनेटर (Cultural Coordinator), फाइनेंस ऑफिसर (Finance Officer)
• मूल्यॉंकन इन बातों पर आधारित होगा (Evaluation shall be based on): डॉक्यूमेंट वेरिफिकेशन (Document verification), परफॉर्मेंस रिकॉर्ड (Performance records), पर्सनल बातचीत (अगर ज़रूरी हो) (Personal interaction (if required))

7. जारी रखने की शर्तें (Conditions for Continuation)

• ज़रूरी एकेडमिक परफॉर्मेंस बनाए रखना। (Maintain required academic performance.)
• यूनिवर्सिटी की तय एक्टिविटी में एक्टिव हिस्सा लेना। (Active participation in assigned university activities.)
• अनुशासनहीनता या गलत काम में शामिल न होना। (No involvement in indiscipline or misconduct.)
• सालाना रिव्यू और रिन्यूअल ज़रूरी। (Annual review and renewal mandatory.)

8. डिसक्वालिफिकेशन / वापस लेना (Disqualification / Withdrawal)

स्कॉलरशिप वापस ली जा सकती है अगर (Scholarship may be withdrawn if):

• स्टूडेंट एलिजिबिलिटी क्राइटेरिया को पूरा नहीं करता है। (Student fails to meet eligibility criteria.)
• गलत काम में शामिल होना या यूनिवर्सिटी के नियमों का उल्लंघन करना। (Involvement in misconduct or violation of university rules.)
• गलत जानकारी/डॉक्यूमेंट जमा करना। (Submission of false information/documents.)

9. स्कॉलरशिप की संख्या (Number of Scholarships)

• फंड की उपलब्धता और सक्षम अथॉरिटी की मंज़ूरी पर निर्भर। (Subject to availability of funds and approval of competent authority.)
• यूनिवर्सिटी हर साल नंबर बदलने का अधिकार रखती है। (University reserves the right to modify the number each year.)

10. फंडिंग सोर्स (Funding Source)

• यूनिवर्सिटी फंड (University funds)
• डोनेशन, एंडोमेंट और स्पॉन्सरशिप (Donations, endowments, and sponsorships)
• जाने-माने ऑर्गनाइज़ेशन के साथ CSR कोलेबोरेशन (CSR collaborations with reputed organizations)

11. स्पेशल प्रोविज़न (Special Provision)

माननीय वाइस चांसलर खास मामलों में बेहतरीन टैलेंट के लिए स्पेशल स्कॉलरशिप दे सकते हैं। (The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor may grant special scholarships in exceptional cases for outstanding talent.)

12. इंटरप्रिटेशन (Interpretation)

किसी भी कन्फ्यूजन की स्थिति में, वाइस चांसलर का फैसला आखिरी और मान्य होगा। (In case of any ambiguity, the decision of the Vice Chancellor shall be final and binding.)
